LuvstarKei is by far one of my favorite YouTubers I've ever watched in my time on this planet. They make Minecraft videos on their main channel which is probably best known for the concept of the "Forever World". For many, the challenge is surviving past the two week Minecraft phase, but I go through more of a 6+ months phase so my personal challenge is to put in the effort to make back-ups so that if I lose my account or my console I can still have my world.
I don't have a lot to say about how the world began since it was awhile ago. I explored for a long time before settling down on a mushroom island. I've never found one in survival before! It was pretty cool because I found a lava pool while traveling and made a nether portal, then I found a broken nether portal and repaired it with obsidian from a Piglin, and when I stepped through it I landed on the island! A great surprise!
The island is vast with a large opening into a lush cave system. It's been surprisingly resourceful in some ways and in other ways I've had to get pretty creative with acquiring things and establishing resources that aren't an entire trip to go get.
I decided to deviate from my typical play-style and focus on adventuring more so than building an adorable house right away. It turns out when you put all your focus into making efficient tools and potions you tend to progress pretty fast! I slayed the Ender Dragon on the 111th in-game day, the quickest I've ever done so.
Now I am slowly working on stylizing the biome of the mushroom island with custom built mushrooms and floating islands. I've also drained an Ocean Monument for the first time and I'm having a lot of fun filling it with villagers and converting it to a sort of monestary!
